Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6:30 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is blankstreet.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 445 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Brooklyn and suggests consistent service.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I stopped in for a coffee today thinking it would be just your normal coffee stop but I ended up having SUCH a lovely conversation the Grace - she was so kind. She didn’t know this at the time, but I’d been having a really bad day up until then and she really cheered me up. If you end up seeing this, thank you!!

I stopped in to order a matcha, and when I placed my order, the barista at the register asked for my name. I assumed it would be used to call out my order, as I noticed other customers’ names were being called. When my drink was ready, I didn’t hear my name, but I did hear the barista repeatedly saying “Daydream” while looking in my direction. Since that’s the drink I ordered, I eventually went to the counter and confirmed it was mine. When I mentioned that I thought my name would be called, the barista gave me an unwelcoming look. The interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable, especially with other customers watching. While the drink itself was good, the experience left me feeling discouraged by the lack of courtesy and professionalism.

My white chocolate raspberry mocha was terrific. However, the banana cake I ordered on the app actually ran out and had to be replaced with a gf olive oil loaf, which was very plain. I felt very relaxed at this clean and cozy cafe. The barista was warm and polite. Will definitely come back. Just order in-person instead of using the unreliable app.
